INFRAESTRUCTURE
TUCUMAN has everything. Touristic infraestructure, modern terminal, hotels, museums, theaters, spectacle halls, important commercial centers, shopping centers, bank area, conference and congress halls, sportive clubs, recreation places, natural beauties, parks, weather variety, historical sites, archaeological and indian ruins and the great kindness of its friendly people.
TUCUMAN has a network of roads extending over 3.350 km by which it is connected with the Northwest region and with Chile and Bolivia, as well.
Natural gas line is obtained from the Northern gas line (Gasoducto Norte) and it is distributed in all the Province through a vast gas line system.
There are two railway lines which make it possible to transport freight to and from Tucumán. These lines give access to the Pacific Ocean through the port of Antofagasta an they also allow commerce with Bolivia and Brasil (Bioceanic Trascontinental Train).
There is an international airport which has frequent passenger and cargo flights.
Regarding electric energy, the installation power is 118.110 MW and the power generated is 664 GWh.
Human resources, in the Province, have been developed to a high level of education ranging through primary, secondary and tertiary level schools and also to the Universities which have been established.
